Hi guys! Sorry for my inactivity these last few days, I’ve been a little busy.
Hey guys! I’ve been wanting to post another review, but I’m currently in the middle of reading three books so I don’t have anything to review yet. Once I finish one though, you know what to expect! In the meantime, I decided to share ten seven popular books/series I haven’t got to read yet, purely out of reading something else and not so much disinterest. There’s just too many books and so little time.
Hey! Everybody has their own habits, even when it comes to reading, so I’m sharing five of mine with you today! I seen someone else’s post like this, but I forget whose it was so I can’t link them unfortunately. I don’t know who originally started it, but I seen Precious’ post last night @ Clockworkdesires and thought it would be fun to make my own 🙂

Final Thoughts:
Looking at the cover and reading the first chapter, I was reminded of Trayvon Martin. I don’t know much about that situation apart from rumours and I don’t know whether this was based on it or not, but I feel it was very similar. It was told in multiple POVs and because of that, in my opinion, it was hard to sympathize with them. For the most part, the characters had their own voice, though there was two or three that was hard to tell who was who. Although Tariq dies at the beginning, we’re told plenty of things about him that I feel like I had enough information to get an idea on what kind of person he was. It’s a fast read and I really enjoyed the ending. I’ve barely heard anything about this book before reading it and going into it with no expectations had been refreshing. The biggest reason I picked it up is because it deals with racism and that’s an important topic.

Hey guys, it’s my Friday post on Saturday! Sorry it’s late, I’ve been up and running for the past 2 days straight. Thank the gods it’s Saturday and this rough week is soon to be over. This one’s gonna be the books I’m most looking forward to that’s being released this month!
It might be the second week of August already, but I can still tell you my plans, right?! Since we’re coming to a close with summer this month, I want to go out with a bang. During the summer months, I didn’t get as much reading done as I would have liked because of family visiting and other plans, you know, summer things. This month I only have one important thing planned that I need to do, but it’s the last day of the month, so I think I’ll have some time to read at last.
